Let me introduce you to Tarzali Lakes Aquaculture Centre.  We are situated on the Cairns Highlands / Atherton Tablelands, with 40 acres of picturesque surroundings. Farmed aquaculture species including Barramundi, Golden Perch, Jade Perch, Red claw and Eels are produced from 15 large ponds containing over 500,000 fish.

Things to do:

• Recreational fishing. Tangle free fishing at our largest pond of 5 acres. You are always guaranteed a good catch at Tarzali Lakes! All fishing equipment available on site.
• Catch a redclaw!
• Learn about the entire Aquaculture process from breeding, feeding to catching and market preparation.
• Fish feeding
• Platypus Tours, including wildlife such as tree kangaroos, jabirus, sea eagles, cormorants, kookaburras, fresh water turtles and of course platypus. 
• The Tarzali Smokehouse serves delicious fresh and in-house smoked products. These are also available to takeaway.

We are located midway between Malanda and Millaa Millaa on the Millaa Malanda Road.
